I've long been captivated by portraiture, a passion that blossomed during a transformative 12-week workshop at the Florence Academy in 2017. It was there that I realized my calling to delve deeper into representational art. Following this, I embarked on a year-long drawing program at the London Atelier of Representational Art (LARA). Though my journey hit a bump when LARA faced financial struggles and closed during the pandemic, I've remained committed in my pursuit, honing my craft through self-study, diverse workshops, and part-time courses at the London Fine Arts Studios.
My approach melds traditional painting techniques with contemporary themes, finding inspiration in both life and photo references. Working from life forms the cornerstone of my practice, yet I also embrace the flexibility of working from photos, allowing me to explore diverse artistic expressions.
